Named for the original character it’s made for, the Valthorn Coat is part of an on-going Steampunk Cosplay (and book idea) that I’ve been working on for a few years now.

Using Simplicity Pattern 2172 yet again, this coat differs from the last one in many ways; more obviously it’s missing a sleeve. Intentionally so, the idea was to build a Steampunk mechanical arm that the coat would be in the way of if it had both sleeves. This project does have a bit of work left into it, starting with cleaning off the chalk labels from the back of the coat.
