Lolita Heart Dress
Made several years ago (I do not remember when) this dress is based off of the popular Japanese fashion trend called Lolita. This particular pattern was derived by Simplicity Pattern 8127, view B. The fabric is a quilter’s cotton print obtained from JoAnn’s Fabrics.
This dress has bright red piping in all vertical skirt seams and features a removable belt with bow details and pockets which are too narrow to hold anything bigger than a candy bar. The bodice, however, is about an inch too short in the neckline to fit me properly, so this dress may be sold at some point in the future once a replacement is made.
